HISTORY OF HWPOA

The area in Holmby Westwood Property Owners Association (HWPOA) was originally developed as a master planned community by the Janss Corporation in the 1920’s.

The boundaries of the association are:

• Sunset Blvd. to the north, Wilshire Blvd. to the south
• Los Angeles Country Club to the east and UCLA to the west.

HWPOA was founded in 1960 and is comprised of 1100 single family homes.
