2. LAPD CRIME REPORT
Window Safety – As the temperatures start to rise, please remember to not leave windows open, even on the second floor. Burglars many times will easily access the second floor with unsecured ladders or even stack patio furniture to gain access. Let’s make it more difficult by securing windows and doors, and always arming alarms prior to leaving home.
Vehicle Safety – Please DO NOT leave key fobs or keys in your vehicle, and do not leave your car unlocked. And please don’t leave valuables inside your vehicle, especially if they are visible from outside the vehicle. A car parked in a secure parking garage does not make it immune from being broken into.
