HWPOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ELECTION
Vote Online – see below

We normally hold the election of the HWPOA Board of Directors in-person at our Annual Meeting.  However, as this year’s Annual Meeting will be held virtually, the election will be held separately.

Below you will find a link to vote electronically.  Members who do not have access to email were sent paper ballots.  Only members in good standing may vote and only one vote per household will be counted.  If you and other family members each receive this email, please select one family member to cast a ballot.

To validate this election, at least 50 members must vote and in order to win, the candidate must receive a majority (at least 50% +1) of the legal vote.

Ballots must be received by 5:00 PM on May 16, 2022 to be counted.  Results will be announced at the Annual Meeting.

6.  DMV REMINDER – GET YOUR REAL ID

If you still need a REAL ID, you have one year before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will require federally accepted identification, like a REAL ID or valid passport, to board a flight within the United States or visit secure federal facilities and military bases. A REAL ID may be your most important carry-on starting May 3, 2023.

Go to REALID.dmv.ca.gov to start your application and upload your documents before visiting a DMV office to complete the process. You will need to provide one proof of identity, two proofs of California residency, and your Social Security number. A bear and star on your driver’s license or identification card indicates you have a REAL ID.
